Description: Very nice lot of (16) c.1900s-20s baseball stadium and/or game postcards (FR-EX) Includes panoramic postcard of Swayne Field (postmarked 1909); postcard showing "Grand Stand and Base Ball Diamondon Luzerne County Fair Grounds" which has 1908 dated promotional text on back for Wilkes-Barre newspaper; nicely illustrated postcard captioned "The Ball Game, Celeron" (postmarked 1909, handwriting throughout); early real photo postcard showing a "Cahffee vs. Sikeston" game played (as captioned) in Chaffee, MO (postmark date not readable, heavy creasing); undated postcards showing "The Lincoln Playground, Seattle", some baseball players in uniform with a crowd of fans captioned "Techny, Ill", and an early game in New Mexico captioned "Baseball above the clouds"; a pair of nice early postcards showing baseball in Panama; and (7) postcards showing stadiums from or games being played in Canada.
