Description: c.1897 Page Fence advertising card with mention of their famed "Giants" baseball team (GD/VG) Rare original advertising trade card was one of a series (we can confirm at least 11 different) issued by Page Fence promoting their woven wire fence. The Company is well known in collecting circles for their most notable promotional piece; a larger card which pictures their "Giants" baseball team. This card (just under 2.5"x3.5") has Woven Fence advertising on the back and promotional text on the front which relates to the Giants team. Of those (11) different we have seen images of from this series (printout of these images is included), this is the only one which mentions or relates to baseball.
