Description: Early c.1860s-70s Lemon peel ball - outstanding quality of craftsmanship and preservation (EX-EX/MT) Early ball constructed from (4) separate swatches of leather displays outstanding craftsmanship with (3) seams that have been joined from the inside. Mild evident usage wear includes some scattered toning/discoloration and scratches to the surface. The most pronounced wear is limited to a small area which has a few deeper scrapes.
