Description: Choice Yankees deceased player autographs (7 pieces) incl. Peckinpaugh and Zachary (EX-EX/MT) Includes outstanding Roger Peckinpaugh signed c.1921 5"x7" portrait photo with "International" stamping on back; choice c.1910s studio portrait of Marty McHale which has has signed in ink and inscribed along the top with the teams he played for; choice c.1910s portrait photo of Chet Hoff which is on 7"x10.5" period mount that has been signed "Chester C. Hoff" in fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10. There is an ink notation at top of the mount written in unknown hand. An included 1973 handwritten and signed letter from Hoff references the photo which it appears was from his personal collection; Tom Zachary signed 1968 personal check. There is short note attached to the upper left corner of the check from his wife to an autograph collector; Johnnie Priest signed index card inscribed "N.Y. Yankees 1911+12"; and Hinkey Haines signed 8"x10" photo of he and Babe Ruth. Haines has signed the photo twice (one more faint rating approx. 6), inscribed it, and added several notes related to the image. Signatures rate 7 to 8/9 out of 10. Scattered generally light wear is slightly more accentuated in some cases and pieces were removed from albums with most having some mounting residue on back: EX-EX/MTFinal Bid: $407.00
