Description: 1968 Don Gutteridge Chicago White Sox professional model road jersey - Illinois Sesquicentennial patch and custom cigarette pocket (EX) Outstanding example of this popular style. Blue flannel jersey has "Chicago White Sox" lettered across the front with number "35" below. Number also appears on the back below the name, "Gutteridge." Wilson manufacturers tag on front tail notes the size (40) and additional tag below reads "Wilson 1968 Set 2." An embroidered "Gutteridge" strip tag remains in the collar. On the left sleeve is an original Illinois Sesquicentennial patch. A custom pocket sewn inside at chest level was intended to hold a pack of cigarettes.
