See a Picture of this Item 1004 Superb Dave Schultz Phila. Flyers road jersey c.1973-74. The offered jersey truly symbolizes the Phila. Flyers brand of hockey during the early to mid 1970's. Orange knit shirt with original embroidered Flyers logo on front retains team placed "Schultz" nameplate on reverse and #8 underneath. Amazingly includes the original Schultz nameplate which has been torn in half from a fight. To say that the jersey exhibits nice usage wear would be an injustice. Heavy wear throughout includes, but not limited to: interior pilling, frayed interior collar, several team stitched repairs, original interior fight strap, significant wash wear, and most significantly blood staining on both front and back from an unconfirmed number of Schultz's on ice victims (and maybe a small bit of Dave's own!-Just kidding Mr. Schultz). This actual jersey was worn during the 1973-74 Stanley Cup playoffs when the Flyers captured their inaugural title. In many ways Schultz and the Broad Street Bullies became synonymous with the city of Philadelphia and even today those very characteristics of heart and undying optimism hold true. Without question the finest Phila. Flyers game worn jersey to come into the marketplace and very likely the finest extant with relation to historical relevance. Includes LOA from SCD Authentic David Bushing/Dan Knoll/Robert Orsimarsi and a detailed letter of provenance from Dave Schultz. Dave Schultz will sign the jersey for the winning bidder if so desired: EX (With note to desirable game (and fight) wear) ($20,000.00-$30,000.00) $18,000.00

Retains original Conn Smythe placard on front and has small brass plaque on front of base with "Bernard Parent Winner 1973-74". 12" tall with some light surface toning. In summary, if you were fortunate enough to make it by the Flyers brutal checks it did not much matter as Parent would usually rise to the occasion and snub any shots. Trophy stands 12" tall on a graduated wooden base with a silverplated columnar style trophy body having a miniature goalie net, crossed sticks, and puck finial. Base retains original brass plaque with "Bernard Parent Winner 1973-74". Trophy remains very clean with only some light surface wear. Mask is missing the backstraps and the skull padding while retaining several of the snap receptacles. Exhibits excellent usage wear incl. numerous chips on the facial area and appropriate age crazing. Interior retains a portion of its original interior padding and has "Parent" written in period black ink on one pad. During the mid 1970's there was no better goalie then Parent. See a Picture of this Item 1023 Significant 1961 Mickey Mantle New York Yankees contract. Mantle's personal copy of this historic contract was issued for $70,000.00 and has been signed by Mantle (with middle initial), Yankees executive R.Howell, and League President Joe Cronin in bold blue ink. Dated Feb. 7, 1961 it would be difficult to predict the coming events that the 1961 season would hold for Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. The two would battle for the home run crown through most of the 1961 season and eventually sought to approach the record of 60 home runs set by babe Ruth. Mantle would slightly fade at the end of the season due mostly to injury and Maris would go on to set the new benchmark at 61. Mantle's statistics for 1961 are borderline fiction with 54 HR's, 132 runs scored, 128 RBI's, .317 B.Average, 122 walks, and a slugging percentage of .687. Regarded as the most desirable Mantle contract and interestingly one of only three that he signed with his middle initial.
