See a Picture of this Item 438 Ty Cobb photograph c.1910s (D304 Brunners Bread card and Police Gazette premium/cover image). Sepia toned image of Cobb in his prime has been mounted to backing board with photographers mask applied throughout in preparation for publication. Mount measures approx. 8.5"x10.25" at extremes with portions of the edges on all sides having chipped away. In addition, there is handling and age related wear throughout. A number of handwritten notations fill the back incl. "Photo by O'Neil" and "Supplement." A good number of pieces within the Photo File archive are believed to have been the originals off of which the Police Gazette published and it is likely that this image of Cobb served as the original used for both his M128 supplement and the cover of the issue in which it appeared.
