Original Louis Heilbroner informational index card signed and completed by legendary Chicago Black Sox figure Oscar "Hap" Felsch. The card is dated 1913 when Felsch was playing for the Association Base Ball Club team in Milwaukee. Black fountain pen signed rates 7/8 out of 10 with Felsch having filled out the rest of the information as well. Felch spelled his name on the card with no "s" which for some reason appears to be consistent with his playing career at that time as evidenced within several Milwaukee baseball programs from 1913-14 in which it is also spelled "Felch". Mizuno brand top of the line "GPT-5" model left handed glove has the number "16" and name "Gooden" written on in vintage black marker. "DOC" is written inside. Strong usage wear is evident throughout with the well broken in leather having appropriate discoloration and scuffing to interior palm. In addition, the area over which the pointer finger would sit on the exterior, while glove was in use, is likewise toned and worn down. An exceptional gamer with direct provenance from one of the more exciting pitchers of the era. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Aaron facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.4oz. Model number "A99" has been stamped in the knob which also has a vintage "44" player number notation in black marker (number also appears on barrel end). Touch of light scattered wear includes a few stray rack marks and what are perhaps one or two contact marks. Signed on the back of the barrel, "Best Wishes, Hank Aaron" in marker rating 8 out of 10. Printed text on the back relays it is an Athletics vs. Tigers crowd with advertising for a film studio below. Recorded on the back, in period fountain pen, are games scores with teams noted as "Japan" and "America" and a 1934 date (although it is unknown if this specifically relates to the Tour). An additional pencil notation was added later and may be a rough translation of Japanese language text imprinted on the front.
