Tastefully matted and framed display includes 16”x20” black and white photograph of George Brett erupting shortly after his July 24, 1983 go ahead (2) run homerun at Yankee Stadium was nullified. An inspection of Brett’s bat had revealed more pine tar than League rules would permit after being questioned by Yankee Manager Billy Martin. The incident has attained legendary status. Desirable original 2002 Olympic torch as carried by Harmon Killebrew as part of the traditional "carrying of the flame" from Olympia, Greece to the site of the games. While authentic torches do reach the secondary market with some regularity it is highly unusual to find an example with direct attribution to a noted individual. Torch measures 33" long with raised "Salt Lake 2002" and Olympic rings logos near top and "Light The Fire Within" captioning at bottom. Expected blackening to glass upper portion from use. Killebrew's complete "Olympic Torch Relay" logos outfit consisting of windbreaker, long sleeved shirt, pants, gloves, and hat.
