Full unused ticket to the November 11, 1911 Carlisle vs. Harvard game which took place at Soldier Field. It was this very game which elevated Jim Thorpe to the spotlight of National attention when the Carlisle Indians upset the heavily favored Harvard team 18-15. Thorpe put on one of the greatest single game performances in college football history scoring all (18) points himself as a running back, defensive back, placekicker, and punter. They went on to an 11-1 record for the season and ultimately won the National Championship. Ticket displays light even toning with minimal wear, which is largely confined to a lower right corner chip. One very small area of the back surface is present but has lifted slightly from the more sturdy body.
