Description: 1944 Washington Senators game worn uniform. Grey flannel shirt retaining orig. black applied "W" on breast. Goldsmith tag in collare remain, year and size are chain stitched in tail. Missing orig. #7 on back which designated this shirt as being worn by John Sullivan, does however retain orig. stars and bars patch on sleeve. Pants are tagged Wilson and have several names and numbers inside including Candini and Niggeling. Both shirt and pants are in fine condition with only typical usage wear. Includes letter of provenance from Emmett Lanier, signed photo of Lanier (wearing similar home uniform) with Clark Griffith and General Wainwright, LOA from Phil Wood, and some other supporting information: EX
