Description: Phila. Athletics road jersey c.9152-53. (This was miscatalogued as a 1937 road jersey in our print catalogue). Grey flannel shirt with blue "A" on front and #47 on back. Retains orig. Pearson Sptg. Goods tag in collar, "42" and "37" chain stitched onto grey patches on tail. Has a 4"x6" section at bottom of back cut away, #47 was not issued for game play in 1937 thusly this is most likely a Spring Training jersey. From the collection of Joe Dugan: VG-EX
