Description: Superb 1895 Mayo Cut Plug Kid Nichols. One of only two Mayo cards ever graded PSA 8 NM-MT (Other was Glasscock) this card is a true miracle with relation to its' condition and age. The Mayo set is notorious for its' black background stock which chips almost upon contact, the offered card is free from such issues with the exception of one tiny speck on the top edge. Both back and front are equally clean free of any mentionable wear. This card is quite simply stated the finest Mayo Cut Plug example to be offered publicly to the best of our knowledge: PSA 8 NM-MT
