Description: Rare 1967 Reggie Jackson Kansas City Athletics road jersey. Tough sleeveless flannel jersey with green "A" on breast and #9 on both front and back. Retains orig. Wilson label on tail with "67-1" chain stitched year tag. Issued to Roger Repoz in the beginning of the season and then handed down to Jackson when he joined the team that year. Jackson has signed the jersey in the collar and the shirt is accompanied by a signed note on index card that reads, "Barry-This certifies that this shirt is my 1st shirt worn in the big leagues. I'm glad you have it!-Aug. 3,85-Reggie Jackson". Lot also includes a white Kansas City A's hat. This jersey originated from the collection of Barry Halper and was subsequently purchased by the Upper Deck Card Co. and given to the consignor as a result of winning a contest.
