Description: Babe Ruth vintage photograph c. 1934. Great batting image taken from the third base side at Fenway Park as Ruth prepares to unleash upon a pitch. Catcher (Rick Ferrell) and umpire are nicely framed in to the right of center, stamped by photographer Arnold Belcher on back and signed on front. As noted on back in period writing this image was taken during Ruth's last appearance in Boston as a player, he would only return to the city where his professional career began in 1935 with a brief stint for the Braves before retiring. 7"x9" with onr vertical crease by Ferrell's hand: VG-EX
