Regarded as one of the finest teams in history the 1911 A’s finished the season with a record of 101-50 ahead of the Tigers by 13-1/2 games and went on to beat the mighty Giants in the World Series. The offered image pictures the team lined up on the field in their trademark white elephant sweaters incl. Mack, Bender, Plank, Baker, Davis, and Collins. 8”x 36” matted and framed with only some light surface wear incl. slight soiling on Baker. Marked Wm. Jennings photo., Phila. Lwr. rt.
