Description: Fine Babe Ruth single signature baseball. Light cream color Harridge AL ball remains very clean with only some very light surface wear and is signed in bold black fountain pen on the sweet spot by Babe Ruth. The signature remains in virtually original as signed condition with some natural ink flow variation grading a 9 out of 10. Ball was obtained by a gentleman originally from New York whose family it has descended in since it was received. Undiscovered single signature Babe Ruth baseballs of high quality are quickly becoming extinct as most have been absorbed into the hobby over the last 10 years. The offered baseball is the second best example that we have offered publicly ranking only behind the ball which we sold in our February auction for a record price of $72,600.00.
