Description: Babe Ruth single signature baseball c.1948. Clear coated Frick NL baseball signed by Babe Ruth on the sweet spot, Ruth signature rates 6 out of 10 and displays nicely. Ball was obtained by Stan Lopata from Babe Ruth at Spring Training in 1948 and is so noted on the ball. Lopata later painted a baseball diamond on the side panel representing the lineup when Ruth hit his 714th and final home run in 1935.
