Description: Rare March 20, 1895 Charles Comiskey autographed handwritten letter. One page handwritten letter was sent by Comiskey to Eddie Boyle with regard to playing for the St. Paul Saints. The content requests that Boyle send in his measurements for "suits" (uniforms) and also a photo to be used in the newspapers. This letter likely relates to the Spalding uniform order sheet included within this auction offering (see related lot). Signed beautifully in black ink at the bottom, "Yours Truly Chas. Comiskey". The letter itself has four small tape repairs at the fold lines. Letter text and signature remain very bold rating 9/10 out of 10. Includes its original envelope as addressed by Comiskey. Very rare 19th century exemplar of the "Old Roman" . Includes LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from the Boyle family: Letter: VG-EX, Signature: NM/MT-MT
