Description: 1978 Jerry Grote L.A. Dodgers National League Championship ring. 14K white gold ring was presented to Jerry Grote as a member of the NL Champion Dodgers who were defeated by their American League rivals in the World Series for the second straight season. Top of the ring has a single inset diamond on a blue field with "Dodgers" lettering. "1978 National League Champions" encircles the center field. One side displays a baseball shaped decor with Grote facsimile signature on the front. The other panel has "LA" team logo with scoreboard. Marked Balfour 14K on the interior ring band. Fairly clean overall with some light wear to the surface of the blue field on top. Includes letter of provenance from Jerry Grote: EX-MT
