Description: Hank Aaron Indianapolis Clowns die cut display figure c.1952. Rare and unusual 11" tall die cut cardboard figural of a young Hank Aaron in Indianapolis Clowns uniform. Aaron began his career with the Clowns in 1952 leading the team to a championship before beginning his Major League career. The die cut was likely produced for advertising purposes and is the first example we have encountered. Very clean general condition with tape repairs to two small tears at both ankles.
