Description: Group of (6) New York Cubans original photographs c.1943. Very fine set of six 8"x10" sepia tone images each picture a member of the New York Cubans team to include: Luis Tiant, Dave Barnhill, Francisco Coimbre, Ameal Brooks, and two variations of Horacio Martinez. The photographs were likely produced for promotional purposes as they picture the star players on the team, most notably Dave Barnhill and Horacio Martinez. Image quality is exceptional with fine clarity and composition having been printed on high quality thick photographic paper stock. Players are identified on the reverse of each image. Includes letter of provenance from the Mitchell family: Range EX-NM
