Description: 1966 Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey. Cream colored flannel vest features double stitched "Pirates" lettering across the front and #77 (coach) stitched on the left breast as well as on the back. The jersey appears to have undergone a team issued number change based on faint outlines of another number visible on the front and back. Rawlings tag with size "44" remains on the front tail in addition to wash tag and adjacent flag tag noting "Set 1 1966". A few small dark stains appear on the right side near the seam. Moderate game wear is evident. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, 1973 letter from the Pitt. Pirates regarding the jersey, and letter of provenance from Don Biernat: EX (With note to team number change)
