Description: 1875 Olympic vs. Americus baseball scorecard. Foldout scorecard was utilized for a game played at Prospect Park Grounds on July 2, 1875. Lineups are written in pencil and game is neatly scored showing the Olympic club prevailing by the score of 20-11. Features advertising on the back by sporting goods dealer Heege & Keefe of Brooklyn, N.Y. Scorecard is accompanied by a copy of an article from the July 7, 1875 edition of The New York Clipper featuring the game's results. Includes letter of provenance from Peggy Steele: VG-EX
