Description: Connie Mack large format photograph by Louis Van Oeyen c.1936. Crisp 11"x14" black and white original image taken by noted photographer Louis Van Oeyen pictures a very close up view of the Grand Old Man of baseball, Connie Mack. Clarity and contrast are precise with flawless detail. The reverse of the photo bears the period stamping, "Photo by L. Van Oeyen Cleveland, O" along with a period fountain pen notation, "Connie Mack May 14 1936". The notation appears to be in Van Oeyen's hand based on comparisons with other documented exemplars. Condition is very clean with some minute surface wrinkling to a few areas: NM
