Description: 1907 Pittsburgh Pirates team photograph. Uncommon large format original image picturing the Pirates team posed in full uniform seated and standing in three rows. Players include Wagner, Willis, Phillippe, Clarke, and Leifield. The image quality remains quite fine for its age with good contrast and clarity. Several of the players have been neatly identified across their respective image in period fountain pen while a few others have extremely faint vestiges of a pencil name impression which are barely visible to the naked eye. The photo measures an impressive 9"x13" matted and framed and is dated in period ink, "Pittsburgh 1907" at the top right corner. Bottom right corner has a chip and the two top corners have minor chipping. Image surface has some light wrinkling typical of photos from this era.
