Description: Superb 1925 World Series Pittsburgh Pirates team panoramic photo. Large and impressive 12"x57" photograph features an expansive interior view of Forbes Field from the vantage of the right field bleachers. The bottom margin hosts cameo portraits of thirty team members incl. McKechnie, Clarke, Cuyler, Traynor, Carey, etc. Titling and the bottom center reads "Pittsburgh Pirates 1925 World Champions, Pittsburgh 4 Games vs. Washington 3 Games, Opening Game at Forbes Field, Pittsburgh, Oct. 7th, Attendance, 41,723". Photographer's marks include "Photographs copyright Ralph W. Johnston, 1925" and "Trinity Court Studio 313 Sixth Ave. Pittsburgh, Pa." Central image remains very strong while there are some general condition issues throughout including some small surface holes, a few small surface punctures, moderate vertical crease line, and some small surface abrasions, all of which could be greatly improved upon with restoration. Housed in a period frame that appears to be original to the photo. Desirable World Series panorama presents better than its technical grade: Range GD-EX
