Description: Pair of 1939 World Series souvenir baseball dolls. Unique pair of souvenir baseball dolls issued in conjunction with the 1939 World Series between the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds. Dolls feature celluloid heads with fine quality linen uniforms including socks and hats in the appropriate color scheme. The Yankees doll retains two small "NYY" logo pinbacks on the hat and jersey along with a 1 1/2" diameter "AL Champions World Series New York Yankees" pin. 13" tall each remaining in remarkable original condition given their fragility and age: EX-MT
