Description: 1941 Montreal Royals panoramic team photograph and related documents from the collection of Van Lingle Mungo. 8"x18 1/2" photo features the 1941 Montreal team incl. Mungo (on rehab assignment from Dodgers), fellow future Brooklyn Dodger Clyde Sukeforth and the rest of the team posing in uniform. Printed titling and a list of the individuals pictured appears at bottom. Photo shows some heavy creasing, border tears, and is missing sections at two corners and top edge. Accompanying documents include a letter to Mungo from Montreal team President regarding his contract and 1941 immigration document permitting Mungo to travel to Canada.
