Description: Honus Wagner 1912 handwritten postcard from Wagner's estate. Honus Wagner sent this postcard from Philadelphia to his future wife Bessie Smith in 1912 while on a road trip with the Pirates. The front pictures Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia. On the reverse he writes, "Hello Mucher (nickname). I hope this finds you fine and dandy. And as I did not come up Thursday I will send my address. And tell Elva to write and let me know what time and train you will arrive on in New York." He has signed it "J.H.W." and "Hotel Brunswick Boston, Mass." It is written and addressed entirely in Wagner's hand. This postcard originates from the Honus Wagner estate and is accompanied by a copy of a letter of provenance from Wagner's granddaughter.
