Description: 1957 Fred Haney Milwaukee Braves full road uniform incl. cap and stirrups. Grey zip-front flannel road jersey features Braves lettering and tomahawk in heavy felt stitched on front and embroidered Braves logo patch on left sleeve. Haney's number "2" is stitched on the front and back in heavy felt. Wilson manufacturer's tag (size 44) remains on the front tail with wash tag below and separate year designation tag featuring "1957" in red chain stitch on white felt. A felt tag in the collar reads "Haney Mgr." in red chain stitch. Perfectly matching pants feature similar Wilson tagging (size 38) and wash tag in the front waistband and spate felt tags in the back of the waistband featuring "Haney Mgr." and "1957" respectively in red chain stitch. Haney's original blue belt remains in the belt loops of the pants. Other uniform components include a pair of heavy blue wool stirrups and a second pair of blue stirrups with red and white striping. Haney's professional model Milwaukee Braves cap is also included. The size 7 1/4 cap is manufactured by KM Pro Cap and remains in new, unused condition with the original KM Pro Cap paper insert in tact on the interior. Haney's name "F. Haney" is written under the bill in black marker. Apart from the cap, the uniform shows appropriate, but not excessive wear, and retains superb presentation quality. All components are completely original and unaltered. Complete and visually impressive ensemble is an immensely important artifact from the most prolific season in Braves history. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from the Haney family: Cap: NM-MT (unused), Uniform: EX-MT
