Description: Set of (8) 1951 National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues commemorative plates. 10" (diam.) dinner plates produced and marked by Kettlseprings Kilns of Alliance, Ohio celebrate the 50-year anniversary (1901-1951) of the National Association. Graphics include a period batting scene at center with myriad baseball scenes from different eras and titling on the perimeter. Text on the back of the plates describes the history of the National Association's progress. Three of the plates have small chips to the underside of the rims, others are NM or better. Includes letter of provenance from the Haney family: Range EX-NM/MT
