Description: 1909 Detroit Tigers World Series scorecard. Scarce early scorecard issued for the game played at Detroit for the Series in which the Pirates prevailed over the Tigers. Front cover exhibits colorful graphics including a Tiger holding flags representing both teams. Interior features an image of the 1909 Tigers team in street clothes with printed player identification as well as a composite image of the 1909 Pirates team. Interior scoring grids feature pre-printed lineups and have been scored. Scorecard shows minor soiling to the cover and a vertical crease. Cover has split substantially at spine: VG
