White Spalding Eddie LeBaron model 388 football has been signed by (26) members of the 1958 NFL Champion Baltimore Colts including Johnny Unitas, Lenny Moore, Art Donovan, Jim Parker, Alex Sandusky, and Ordell Braase. Black ink signatures uniformly rate 8-9 out of 10. Ball itself shows very light general toning. The 1958 NFL Championship game between the Colts and the New York Giants has been billed as "The Greatest Game Ever Played." It was the NFL's first sudden-death overtime game and is credited with boosting the NFL's popularity, due in part to it being broadcast to a national television audience.
