Description: December 28, 1958 NFL World Championship game program and related ticket stubs. Widely regarded as the "Greatest game ever played" the 1958 NFL Championship game marked a turning point for football in American culture. Although the game itself was one for the ages, with the Baltimore Colts defeating the New York Giants in sudden death overtime, its lore was born largely from the fact that the game was played before a national television audience on the NBC network. The program remains exceptionally clean with bright original colors and minimal wear. Also included with the lot is an original ticket stub from an Upper Box Seat at Yankee Stadium along with a rare "New York Yankees Stadium Club" pass issued for the game.
