Description: Brooks Robinson professional model baseball bat c.1973-75. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 33.2oz. The bat shows very fine use incl. ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, pine tar residue, and original handle tape. Model #O16 is stamped on knob end along with a period #5 written in black marker on both knob and barrel ends. The barrel of the bat displays a unique hand painted portrait of Brooks Robinson which was executed in the period and presents beautifully. Signed by Robinson on the barrel in black sharpie. One of the finer Robinson game used bats that we have handled with excellent display qualities. Includes LOA from JSA (autograph) and Hunt Auctions (bat): EX
