Lot Number: 699

Description: Two pairs of Baltimore Orioles 1966 home uniform pants. Cream-colored flannel pants both feature matching Wilson manufacturer’s tags inside the tail. The first pair, attributed to relief pitcher Stu Miller (#37), features chain stitched tagging that reads "37-34-17, 66-1”. The felt tag has separated from its perimeter stitching on two sides. The second pair, attributed to shortstop Billy Hunter (#55), features chain stitched tagging that reads "55-37-27, 66-1”. The felt tag has separated from its perimeter stitching in two areas. The number “55” is written on the inside waistband in black marker. Both pants show evident use with a torn belt loop on the Miller pants and a hole at the right knee of the Hunter pants being the only significant condition faults. Pants originate from the collection of Paul Thiebaut, Sr. who was a scout for the Baltimore Baseball Club in the 1960s. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from the Thiebaut family: EX
