Description: Babe Ruth photograph c.1918. Exceptional original sepia tone image in a matte finish picturing Babe Ruth standing with a bat in a Boston Red Sox uniform c.1918. The blank backed photo measures just under 4"x6" matted and framed retaining excellent original contrast and clarity. The top area of the photo has a light horizontal surface line crease which does not affect the visual appeal of the piece. Quite possibly attributable to photographer Geo. Grantham Bain as there are several known related images apparently taken on the same day which were denoted as Bain photographs: EX
