Description: Handmade folk art blanket with Chicago White Sox pennant c.1910-15. Large 57"x84" quilted blanket which includes numerous period souvenir pennants that have been partially stitched into the blanket. Among the pennants is a rare full size Chicago White Sox pennant with applied leather batter graphic. The leather batter is intact but partially loose from the pennant. Other pennants include a "P" pennant with a diamond shaped logo that may reference the Phila. Phillies; Collegiate pennants incl. Princeton, Michigan; New York pennant; and a unique "Metropolitan" pennant. Overall condition varies with most pennants remaining fairly well intact and removable from the blanket if so desired: Range GD-EX
