Description: Honus Wagner auto. baseball. Off white Harridge AL ball signed on a side panel, "J. Honus Wagner Pirates 34" in black fountain pen. The signature rates 9 out of 10. An additional period ink notation of an unknown origin appears on the same panel under Wagner. The first word is clearly "Major" with the second word remaining unclear. The sweet spot of the baseball is inscribed, "New York Giants EX game, Apr. 13, 1934". Wagner's roots ran deep in the town of Louisville, where he began his professional career with the team in the late 19th century. The offered baseball exhibits light game use from the exhibition game at Parkway Field in Louisville that Wagner attended. Fine Wagner signed baseball with impeccable provenance. Includes LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from the family: Ball: EX, Signature: NM
