Description: 1930 Philadelphia Athletics World Championship award tie bar/ring. 14K gold tie bar was converted to a ring in the period. An embossed silver elephant sits atop crossed bats along with an inset diamond. An accompanying family letter of provenance attributes the award to Homer Suma. Inscription on the reverse is obscured by addition of ring. Shows medium usage wear.
