Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig dual signed baseball c.1928-30. Moderately toned "Lively League" baseball is signed on the sweet spot by Ruth in black fountain pen and on the panel above by Lou Gehrig in dark purple ink. Both signatures remain quite bold with Ruth’s example particularly strong, rating 8 out of 10, and Gehrig’s rating 7/8 out of 10. The ball itself is uniform in color with soiling and age toning throughout. Fine career contemporary exemplar featuring the most widely coveted duo in sports autograph collecting.
