Description: Ty Cobb auto. IRS check and handwritten stubs display piece. April 14, 1930 fully executed bank check written by Ty Cobb to the "Collector of Internal Revenue" in the amount of $103.96. Affixed to the check are two "stubs" from Cobb's checkbook, filled out in his hand, recording the transaction as well as the previously written check. All of Cobb's writing is in bold black ink including his signature, which rates 9 out of 10. The check is matted and framed along with a 12 1/2"x10 1/2" limited edition (#264/5000) silver gelatin image of Ty Cobb produced from an original glass negative from 1915. Framed display measures 24 1/2"x18" overall. Includes LOA from JSA: NM
