Description: Nelson Fox Chicago White Sox travel bag c.1950-60s. Handled Wilson leather bag from Nelson Fox retaining its original leather window display label with Wilson stamping. Large white lettering "Nellie Fox" is found on one side panel. "N. Fox Chambersburg 26H-222" is written in period ink on the cardboard label by Fox himself. Original metal fob with "Chicago White Sox Baseball Club" impressed in red lettering remains attached to the leather handle. Includes letter of provenance from Mrs. Nelson Fox: EX
