Description: Rare 1955 World Series pennant. Oversized 14"x29" blue felt pennant issued for the 1955 World Series played between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. The pennant remains in outstanding nearly original condition exhibiting rich original color with bright lettering and graphics. Blue satin work fringe at the left edge remains intact. The pennant body itself has a few very minor fold lines mentioned for accuracy only and some slight toning to the "ook" in Brooklyn. As one of the most desired of all World Series endorsed pennants, the offered specimen is also one of the finest condition exemplars that we have seen offered at auction: EX/MT-NM
