Description: 1925 Miller Huggins endorsed New York Yankees payroll check. Paycheck issued to manager Bill Huggins on May 29, 1925 by the New York Yankees in the amount of $4,422. The check remains in fine condition and is signed by Jacob Ruppert and Ed Barrow on the front. Huggins' endorsement signature "Miller J. Huggins" appears on the back. The signature rates 9 out of 10 and is barely affected by two cancellation holes on the bottom loop of "J" and tip of the "u". Typed notation at top of back notes the payment as "Salary for May 4422.00". Huggins untimely death at the age of 50 on September 25, 1929 makes his autograph a rarity in today's marketplace. The check itself is in excellent condition with three vertical fold lines. Includes LOA from JSA: EX/MT
