Description: Lot of (2) Whitey Ford auto. photographs with relation to Mickey Mantle. Unique pair of signed images to include a matted and framed 10"x13" sepia tone image of Mantle instructing Ford on how to throw a knuckle ball. The photo is signed, "Mick teaching me to throw a knuckle ball! Whitey Ford". Image clarity and contrast are very fine: NM and a black and white 8"x10" photo picturing Ford and Mantle signed, "Teaching Mick how to hit! Whitey Ford". The offered signed images are the only examples of their type within the Ford collection. Includes LOA from JSA and two individual letters of provenance from Whitey Ford.
