Description: ***UPDATED PHOTOGRAPH*** Whitey Ford "National Old Timers Baseball Classic" game worn uniform c.1980s. Original home white knit uniform worn by Whitey Ford as a member of the American League Old Timers team. The Old Timers Baseball Classic games were played over a period of several years during the 1980s with a fine roster of former players including Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, and Willie Mays. The uniform includes Ford's "American" jersey with "Ford" lettering on the back and #16 beneath which is signed "Whitey Ford HOF 74", pants, and stirrup socks. Accompanying the uniform is an autographed program from the 1986 game picturing Ford on the front cover.
