Description: ***UPDATED PHOTOGRAPH*** Whitey Ford "National Old Timers Baseball Classic" game worn uniform c.1980s. Original home white knit uniform worn by Whitey Ford as a member of the American League Old Timers team. The Old Timers Baseball Classic games were played over a period of several years during the 1980s with a fine roster of former players including Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, and Willie Mays. The uniform includes Ford's "American" jersey with "Ford" lettering on the back and #16, pants, and stirrup socks. The front of the jersey is signed, "Whitey Ford HOF 74". Accompanying the uniform is an autographed program from the 1986 game picturing Ford on the front cover.
