Description: Lot of (2) Whitey Ford award plaques to include: 1964 "Athletes of the Century: Baseball" presented to Ford by the Nassau County Chapter Assoc. for the Help of Retarded Children. 10"x12" mahogany plaque with applied bronze placard and raised lettering: EX and 1963 "Pride of the Yankees" award plaque given to Ford by the YMCA organization. 9" tall with an embossed medallion. The plaque itself has been signed by Ford across the front in black sharpie: EX. Includes LOA from JSA and two individual letters of provenance from Whitey Ford.
